lps shows process data similar to ps but its output is optimized for analyzing by scripts rather than human reading. The process data shown for all or selected users is separated by SPACEs. lps shows some data which is not printed by ps like process age and more. One useful application is to show long running processes, sorted by age and with socket usage flagged to quickly detect "user daemons" like irc bots and more.
lps is part of ngtx.
